Getting started
What does it cost?
An affordable build fee to start, quoted for what you need, which covers the intake, four design directions, the feedback rounds, and the launch on your domain. Then Upkeep from $39 a month, priced by how often your site changes. No contracts, cancel anytime. Write to us and we’ll quote your build. The full comparison.
Do I need to know anything technical?
No. That's the point of us. You talk about your business; we handle everything else.
How long does it take?
From the initial conversation, we shoot to have options in your inbox within a few days. We iterate with you as you respond, so you're also in the driver's seat.
What if I already have a website?
We keep what's working, rebuild what isn't, and move you over without downtime. Your old links keep working.
The work
Can you write the words too?
Yes. We draft from our conversation and you correct us. It sounds like you because it started with you. But if you provide the words and want us to stick to them, that's okay too! You're in charge.
What counts as a change?
The everyday kind: new photos, updated prices, a seasonal announcement. Send it from your dashboard, or by email on Basic, and we make it.
What if I don't like any of the four directions?
Say so on the pages, in your own words, and we draw more. The rounds run until it's right; they are in the build fee, not billed on top.
Owning it
Who owns the website?
You do. Domain, content, design: all yours, even if you stop your Upkeep. We'll hand everything over cleanly.
Do I need to buy a domain?
You need one, and it stays in your name. It usually runs $10 to $15 a year and is not part of the build fee. If you'd rather not deal with registrars, we'll register it for you and bill it at cost.
What about my old site's visitors?
If your current site counts its visitors, that history can be brought into your weekly record so it reads as one continuous story. It's an optional add-on, so ask about it at intake.
