Whirl builds and hosts custom websites for small businesses, and you're in the room the whole way. You'll see four designs in your own private Studio, leave your comments right on the pages, and have the one you choose live on your domain in a matter of days. After that we keep it running, and when you write to us, one of us writes back.

There are five steps. The first two happen once, and the last three are a loop we go around together on the way to launch, and then again any time you'd like something changed. Whichever way you start, it all happens in your Studio, a private place of your own where you and the people you invite watch each step, leave comments and ask for changes.

A site built just for you that loads fast and works on a phone. We host it, connect your domain, and set up the secure padlock and the visitor counts, so there's nothing technical left for you to do.
When a price changes or you've got something seasonal to announce, send it from your Studio and we make the change. On Standard it's live within two business days.
Every Monday we email you a short note about last week: how many people found your site, where they came from, and how many tapped to call or write to you. It comes with every plan, so you never have to go looking for it.
Whirl is the two of us, Michael and Kirstie. We read every comment and every email ourselves, and one of us replies.
On Standard and Premium you can open your Studio any day and see your visitors day by day. Mark a day, say the day you posted the launch or spoke at a conference, and the page shows you what changed in the weeks after. If your old site counted its visitors, we can bring that history along so nothing starts from zero.
Because we all deserve a great website. Every site starts with a build fee we quote for you, and then a monthly Upkeep plan priced by how often your site changes. There are no contracts, so you can cancel any time.

No, you don't need to know anything technical to work with Whirl. You tell us about your business and what you'd like the site to do, and we take care of everything technical: the hosting, the secure padlock, the domain settings and whatever else comes up.
You own the website: the domain, the words, the photos and the design are all yours, even if you stop paying for Upkeep, and we hand everything over properly if you ever leave.
Usually a few days from our first conversation to four designs in your inbox. After that it moves at your pace: each time you send comments, we revise and send it back, and the one you choose is live on your domain in a matter of days.
Yes, we write the words too. We write a first draft from our conversation, you correct anything that doesn't sound like you, and we keep going until it does. If you'd rather write the words yourself, we'll use them exactly as you give them.
If you already have a website, we keep what's working, rebuild what isn't, and move you over without downtime. Your old links keep working, and if your current site counts its visitors, that history can come with you.
